Atria

Atria Plc is a powerfully growing and internationalising Finnish food-industry company. Atria’s net sales in 2008 was 1,4 billion euro. Atria is the largest meat processor in Finland in terms of sales and one of the leading food industry companies in the Nordic Countries, Russia and the Baltic region.

Atria Plc employs about 6 100 persons. Atria Group is divided into four business areas: Atria Finland, Atria Scandinavia, Atria Russia and Atria Baltic. Atria’s roots go back to 1903, when its oldest owner co-operative was founded. Atria Plc’s shares are listed on the Nasdaq OMX Helsinki Ltd.

Atria Russia

Atria Russia is comprising of two companies: OOO Pit-Product and OOO-Campomos. Atria started its operations in Russia in 2005.

OOO Pit-Product is a subsidiary company of Atria Plc. The Pit-Product Group was established in 1996 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Pit-Product is the largest meat processing company in the St. Petersburg region. The company currently operates two production plants with over 1 300 employees. The product portfolio of Pit-Product consists of sausage and meat products, like cold cuts.

The company’s meat processing plant is situated in Sinyavino, Leningrad oblast. The new production plant (as of 2009) and the adjacent logistics centre are locvated in Gorelovo, Leningrad oblast. Atria became the owner of Pit-Product in September 2005.

OOO Campomos is a subsidiary company of Atria Plc, headquartered in Moscow, established in 1989. The company’s production plant and logistics centre are located in Moscow. The number of employees is currently about 800. The company’s primary production (port breeding facility) is situated in the Moscow oblast region in Zaraisk, by the Moscow ring road. Atria became the owner of Pit-Product in September 2005.
