What we do


East Office of Finnish Industries was founded in spring 2008 by 19 leading Finnish corporations to support the members in the Russian market.

Currently there are 25 equal shareholders, including Aspo, Atria, Cargotec, Fazer Group, Finnair, Fortum, Itella, Kesko, KONE, Konecranes, Metso, Neste Oil, Nokian Tyres, Outokumpu, Paroc, Rautaruukki, Sanoma, SRV, Stockmann, Tikkurila, UPM-Kymmene, Valio, VR Group, Wärtsilä and YIT.

Experts from The Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Confederation of Finnish Industries have presence in the Office board.

East Office of Finnish Industries is also a partner in the Business Team for Russia. Five leading Finnish organisations co-operate under the Business Team for Russia to support Finnish business active in Russia. The other participating institutions are the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce, the Confederation of Finnish Industries, Finland Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Finnish Enterprises.
