We are pleased to welcome two new members to our East Office community – KWH Group and Raute. East Office was founded in 2008 by 19 large Finnish companies. The number of companies we currently represent is 30.

Our long experience, market knowledge and efficient networks both in Russian and in Finland are the key factors to East Office operations.  Russian market is a large and important one, but it can also occasionally be a challenge. Need for reliable and punctual information and contacts remains high. I am pleased to welcome KWH Group and Raute to the East Office community.

KWH Group is a family-owned company which manufactures and markets abrasives and water traps as well as offers freight forwarding and logistics services. The KWH Group is divided into three independent divisions, Mirka, KWH Logistics and KWH Invest. The biggest part of the company is Mirka that specializes in abrasives and sanding and polishing machines. KWH Group is one of the largest two hundred companies in Finland.

Raute is a technology and service company that operates worldwide. Raute’s customers are companies operating in the wood products industry that manufacture veneer, plywood, LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) and sawn timber. Its technology offering covers the entire production process for veneer, plywood and LVL and special measurement equipment for sawn timber. As a supplier of mill-scale projects, Raute is a global market leader both in the plywood and LVL industries. Additionally, Raute’s full-service concept includes technology services ranging from spare parts deliveries to regular maintenance and equipment modernizations.
